Divine health is holistic health (whole-person care).
Holistic health is the human experience of optimal harmony, balance, and function of the interconnected “unity” of spiritual, physical (body), mental (mind), and social dimensions. God through His Word (Jesus) and the working of the Holy Spirit, forms this “unity”.
Whole-person care involves the interconnection of:
Spiritual health
Faith life
Physical health
Nutrition-Diet
Movement-Exercise
Medical
Mental health
Emotional
Social health

I was able to accomplish a childhood ‘dream’ of becoming a nurse, after twenty years of working in a factory. My reward of a nursing scholarship, helped me to receive an associate degree in Nursing and I became a registered nurse. Four years after receiving my associate degree, to increase my knowledge in nurse management, I obtained my bachelor degree in Nursing. Six years later my desire to help the community increased, so I furthered my education and obtained a master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Services Administration. For over twenty years I have worked in various areas of nursing/public health, spiritual care, psychiatric, medical-surgical, chronic care, correctional, community, and employee health. I also utilize these gifts in volunteer work for the American Red Cross as a Disaster Spiritual Care Chaplin and Nurse.
Along with taking of nursing courses throughout the years, I was also taking seminary courses and received an associate degree in Theology. After answering my calling to ministry I furthered my education and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theology. Furthering my theological education, I received a doctorate degree in Christian Counseling.
Along my educational pathway, intertwining the gifts of ministry and nursing, I have also obtained many certifications in both areas. I have certification, to name a few, in Congregation Health Nursing, Health Ambassador, Health Promoter, and Health Leader and as a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach.
